Gay Pinky
Hey Rob, got another one for ya! xD
Yet another request from my dear friend Kate. Inspired by this particular movie role of Rob Paulsen. Bet you didn't know he was an film actor before a voice actor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltI6zc8MWtA
And also this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KoUdbMjAlM
No shit.
All these idiodic, egotistical, weak celebrities we've got today ain't got nothin' on Michael Jackson, the one true king. ^^
ENOUGH.
I used to be a mushy-gushy romantic. Not anymore.
Inspired by a line from Ren and Stimpy. God, do I crave that show! xD
I Can't See You...
If you haven't seen my abstract personal portrait of the fireflies in my head, chances are you have no idea what I'm talking about.
One of the most despicable things the fireflies have done to me is keep me from enjoying Michael Jackson, my favorite musical artist ever.
R.I.P. Bob Hoskins and Robin Williams
Was going to do a graphite pencil portrait of Buddy and Roger out of respect for Bob, but I had to make this right away in tribute after hearing the news of Robin's death. :,(
Pibbitt and Brainstello
My good friend Kate requested I draw this for her birthday. She and I are both huge fans of Pinky and the Brain.
Inspired by this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO4QVzAxzAQ
My Disney Theory
If parents can't see what their children get so excited about whenever a new Disney movie comes out, they have forgotten the magic they felt when they were the age of their little ones.
Disney's Magic by Cirque du Soliel
Title card made with pastels.
Seriously!!! I know they have their own show at Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World, but why hasn't Cirque du Soleil done a Disney-themed show all their own? Probably because of Disney's tight financial grip on pretty much everything with their name. -_-
Think about it, the magic of Cirque du Soleil meets the magic of Disney...nothing more than a perfect marriage. I admittedly only saw one of their shows so far, Michael Jackson: The Immortal with my dad (undoubtedly one of the best live shows I've ever seen), which helps to visualize my epic dream.
Here's the premise I have in mind:
While investigating a dark room, four kids discover an intricately carved, elaborately painted chest. The second eldest opens the padlock with a bobby pin from her hair, and it opens to reveal a tiny snow globe. Inside is a miniature replica of a lively medieval Bavarian-style village with a racial array of dancers, a band and a rainbow maypole. The eldest turns the knob at the bottom, and "When You Wish Upon a Star" plays. While the three older siblings study the unique and alluring design of the globe, wondering how anything so beautiful could be so small, the youngest just closes her eyes tightly, takes a deep breath, and simply believes that it's magic.
Suddenly, a stream of pixie dust escapes from the globe and whisks the children away into the globe as the audio of Walt Disney saying "To all who come to this happy place, welcome" plays. They are not hesitant to join in on the celebration of life and magic. A mashup of the following songs plays whilst the following events occur:
- "Fantasmic! Overture": The kindly villagers prepare the children for the festival by dressing them in the traditional attire, letting them gorge on their smorgasbord of treats, and performing for them a montage of aerial ribbon dances before tying them onto the maypole.
- "Kingdom Dance" (cresendoing ending only) from Tangled: Everyone, including the kids, spins the maypole.
- "Trashin' the Camp" (ending only) from Tarzan: All rejoice after the maypole is spun, with Stomp-style drumming from the band. Everyone then disperses, leaving the kids confused.
- "When You Wish Upon a Star" (acapella ending line only)": The kids are delighted to see Jiminy Cricket floating down to greet them and offer to tell them stories.
Act 1:
- "True Love's Kiss" (cresendoing intro only) from Enchanted/"It's a Small World" (instrumental intro line only, accompanied by music box chimes in the same key as "True Love's Kiss" intro.): With a wave of his hand, Jiminy makes a gigantic pop-up storybook appear. As he turns the pages, each one is transported to another land, and a map of the world is shown on the giant screen of where they are on Earth in the Disney Universe.

Finale:
To end the kid's adventure with a bang, Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice creates a spectacular fireworks show, and then everything goes dark. Then, the kids see Tinkerbell's glow. With a wave of her magic wand, she whisks them away back to where they were before. As the three older kids walk of the dark room, excitedly recalling what they just witnessed, the littlest carefully picks up the snow globe, places it back in the chest and locks it, and then skips off to catch up with her siblings.
Suddenly, the giant screen shows a hand works on a sketch of the little girl skipping out of the dark room. Then, on the stage appears Walt Disney himself as a young man, portrayed by a mime performing to audio of Disney saying inspirational quotes, feverishly sketching ideas. He likes the cartoon he just drew of the kids' grand musical adventure, so he places the stacks of paper in an ordinary chest in his bedroom. Just as he's about to go back to work, he jumps at the sight of a mouse, but then slowly crouches down to pick him up and carry him to his desk. He then feels a spark of inspiration and starts sketching at double speed.
Encore (to "Enchanted Suite"):
All the performers come onto the stage in their costumes in sparkly white, in homage to the ending of It's a Small World, and bow to the audience.

Somehow I will show this to Guy Laliberté, Cirque's current CEO, and his team. Hope they'll like it and have as much excitement and confidence in it as I do. ^^
I'm Not Gone
Drew this in memorial for Michael Jackson of his death date of this year.
Here you see his daughter Paris mourning over her dear father's loss. Little does she know he flew in to check on her and her brothers, to see how much they've grown, of which he's done every year ever since his passing.
Every year, he says the same thing to his poor children s' tear-drenched words:
"But...I'm not gone...I'm free."
Elsa and P.L. Travers
After comparing Frozen and Saving Mr. Banks in my mind, I've discovered how the main women are very similar in character.
Don't you agree?
Fireflies
An abstract personal portrait done in pastels.
I have Asperger's Syndrome, ADD, OCD and anxiety. Fun, right? -_-
Before my life and spirit was changed for the better since I took these pills from my doctor, my head was unwelcomed by overwhelming random thoughts, primarily of tidbits from movies, tv shows, YouTube videos, etc. Some of these thoughts are even abusive towards myself.
Simply put, my thoughts were fireflies with three terrible duties.
First, they were distractions. Blocking my vision of all that was happening before my eyes while trying to experience my life to the fullest, but what was even more painful was the dreaded blockage of the path from my heart to my head. It doesn't matter what I felt for anybody or anything, the fireflies, by far the harshest critics I know, wouldn't budge on believing I was capable of believing anything. Most everybody I've told about this doesn't understand, but I knew what I felt. Very rarely did I smile, laugh or cry, but oddly enough was I able to express my anger and frustration quite well.
Second, they were words. Too many to choose, too fast and too scattered to catch, too stubborn to escape.
Third, they were priorities. So many things I needed to do to progress my future as well as wanted to do to expand my limited scope and artistic skills and just to pass the time. Again, scattered little bastards. -_-
But ever since the pills, as well as regular visits to a therapist, and not to mention being found by the best boyfriend I could ever have (I won't say who), two of the easiest people I can talk to, I've been happier and more confident in expressing myself, a lot less socially restrained, mentally organized, no longer lost. My boyfriend has told me more than once that he doesn't see anything wrong with me and that I don't need those pills nor a therapist, by I know how I feel. I know he means well, but I wish he could see how genuinely happy I am with these positive alterations in my life, especially him. n///n
While these happy things have driven many of the fireflies away, there are unfortunately a few who insist on staying. But I refuse to let the the pills do all the hard work. For the most part, this is my responsibility to put my reckless, pretentious mind in control if I want to be more than I've ever been as an artist and a person.

Here's the Tuppence, Father
A watercolor drawing I made for this Disney Father's Day contest on deviantArt.
This, to me, is the most touching of all Disney father scenes, Mr. Banks realizing how genuine his children are when they give him back the tuppence they stole from him before, his revelation that he needs to be there to nurture their good hearts. ^^
When Elsa Met Toothless
Just something I'd thought I'd draw while HTTYD2 was in hype.
I might be the only one on Earth who thinks that movie is just alright. Don't get me wrong, I love the first movie. It was perfectly fine and entertaining the way it was, so why continue on the story except for the purpose of showing even more dragons? Not only that, the plot was complicated and the character designs awkward.
Of all the animation studios having fallen into the 3D trap, Disney, in my opinion, is the only one that has really adapted well. Pixar doesn't count because they've always been 3D considering they first started out doing special effects and that they were the ones who started 3D animation in the first place. I would include Dreamworks, but their signature style is really based from the Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda franchises, and not so much from The Prince of Egypt nor The Road to El Dorado.
Tangled, to me, is not at all an awkward transition from their signature 2D style. It really felt like I was watching one of their timeless classics. The Book of Life, on the other hand, El Tigre in 3D...weird. -_-
Sorry for getting of topic there. '^~^ It's just that Frozen has WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better animation, character and background designs and expressions than Dragons 2, but that's just my opinion.
Michael Jackson Caricature
This is a caricature I got as a souvenir at my state's spring fair of my favorite photo of him. Amazing, right? ^^
This is my shaded-in version.
Thumper
A quick sketch I made of perhaps the only marketable Disney rabbit, not counting Roger Rabbit considering he shares the credit with Steven Speilberg.
Drew this while watching a how-to-draw tutorial special feature by the great Andreas Deja on the Bambi II DVD one night.
I'm proud of how this turned out. ^^
Someone in the Dark
An abstract pastel portrait I made for this Michael Jackson fan fiction my good friend showed me, of which I adored: http://lady1venus.deviantart.com/art/Celebrity-Being-Adopted-1-450072276
The Beatles
A graphite pencil portrait I made for originally for The Beatles' 50th anniversary of officially starting the British Invasion, but then life's shit got in my way, so I had to put it on hold.
Then my mom's birthday was coming up months later. She was blown away by how I drew John's face, so she requested I finish this as a birthday present for her. She loved it, and had me frame it. ^^
Yes, I know, there hair looks like crap, especially Paul's of whom looks like he's wearing a dis-positioned tupay. I had to rush myself. Sorry Fabs. -_-
Old Hag
Done in graphite pencils.
I really didn't want to make this, had to for a contest on deviantArt, to draw something out of my comfort zone. This ugly-ass crone has ruined my childhood. All because of her, I couldn't watch what was literally my first favorite Disney movie from age three to thirteen, ten years. -_-
But on the other hand, that shows how phenomenally well Disney can visualize any emotion since the beginning, even fear, exhibit A, this character. I simply cannot deny, that definitely counts for something. :)
When You Wish Upon a Star
Done in Prismacolor colored pencils on watercolor paper. An homage to my favorite animated Disney movie. <3 ^^
One of my most beloved works (from everyone who's seen my work on deviantArt), and one of my personal favorites. This is by no means perfect, but I do think it turned out very well. :)
Babbitt and Catstello
A quick sketch of one of my favorite animated comedy duos. x3
I remember loving it as a kid, and I still do to this day. Is it just me, or is Mel Blanc as Lou Costello even funnier than Lou Costello himself? xD
Fear
An abstract pastel portrait I made after a traumatic experience with my father, that is all I will say.

Michael Jackson and the Ponies
Another random crossover, yay! xD
When I showed this to my mom, she didn't like his big, Joker-like smile. Sorry, just wanted to do a cartoon version of him reminiscent of the show's style. '^~^
But nonetheless, I think this turned out just fine, and I'm glad I was able to make some fans of both MJ and MLP very happy. :)
Elsa Quick Sketch
Something I made on the paper tablecloth at this restaurant I was at with my mom and grandparents one time. My grandmother suggested that I sign it. x)
Abstract Watercolor
...Yeah, that's pretty much it.
I wanna do more artwork like this. As an artist, I love anything random and weird, such as Picasso, Warhol, old Fleischer Brothers cartoons, my favorite Beatles' movie Yellow Submarine, basically anything psychedelic. I absolutely adore the spontaneity of it all, and the fact that most people don't understand it makes it all the more interesting and complex. :)
As you probably can tell, I've got a thing for swirls. x)
Michael Jackson Abstract Pastels
Literally the last thing I made in my high school senior art class.
I loved how most people didn't know what it was. x)
Steamboat Willie Sketch
My sketch from the Disney Animation Academy at California Adventure from my trip to California with my mom last year.
I think I did a pretty decent job, and I love that Mickey himself signed it. (x3
Michael Jackson: A Man of Rhythm
Something I made for my Interior Design class in high school, the focus being on visualizing the five types of rhythm: Repetition, Gradation, Transition, Opposition and Radiation.
Who better to properly and artistically exemplify any kind of rhythm than Michael Jackson? I had a blast letting my imagination run wild and free with this piece. x)
Martin Luther King Jr.
Made with graphite pencils.
I wanted to do some sort of tribute for the birthday of one of the greatest leaders not just of America, but of the world, a genuine icon of freedom, equality and justice.
From the bottom of my heart, and of all the people of the world you've inspired, not just blacks, thank you Mr. King. May you continue on the march of peace in heaven.
Beethoven
A charcoal sketch I made of one of my all-time favorite classical composers on my twelfth birthday, the pad and charcoals being two of my gifts. :)
Captain Eo and the Yellow Submarine
Just a random crossover drawing I made long ago.
Thought it would be fun to imagine the Fabs adding a special part to the motor in the yellow submarine to make them go on some tripped-out adventures in space, and Eo would be their guide. x)
Julie Andrews
A graphite pencil portrait of one of my female heroes, a quite underrated entertainer.
She is talented, classy, dignified, charming, funny, adorable, kind, warm, humble, down-to-earth, overall, practically perfect in every way. :3
Everyone talks about her golden performances in Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music, and honestly, who could blame them? But little do they realize that she has been in a number of films that are not so family-friendly. But at least for those roles she's had, she's been treated well. Perhaps most don't consider her as a megastar because she's never been slandered by the tabloids and Hollywood media for the common problems with fame and fortune that most celebrities endure. At any point in her life, I highly doubt she's ever binged on alcohol, even attempted to do drugs, or have had any numerous affairs at once nor had multiple marriages.
While I'm no actress or singer, she inspires me to be a more bright, quick-witted, gutsy woman. Surely you'll see what I mean if you've seen any of her interviews. I hope to God to meet this incredible gem of a lady one day, but I'd better hurry, for she'll turn eighty next year. o_o But then again, she's still so healthy and thriving through and through so I suppose I've got nothing to worry about. ^^
Maestro de Vil
Something I drew for Halloween of last year, fitting since it's only two days away this year.
This pays homage to Michael Jackson from my favorite musical short film of his, Ghosts, and my favorite Disney Villain, Cruella de Vil. The design was inspired by Marshall Lee of the gender-swapped Adventure Time, and Hades from Disney's Silly Symphony cartoon, The Goddess of Spring.
As an artist, I have a particular love of drawing flexible hands. x)

Michael Jackson
A graphite pencil portrait of my all-time favorite musical artist, and one of my heroes. Everything he did, on and off the stage, was pure magic. His gifted and electrifying talented, his unconditional love, caring and generosity towards everyone, especially his fans and to those in need, there never was and never will be anyone else like him. To this day, and for all time, he is one of my biggest inspirations as an artist and a person. I drew this last year, and it continues to be one of my favorite drawings I've done of him. :)
